Dubai is one of the toughest places in the world for tyres. Road surfaces can reach 70°C or more in summer, and tyre pressure rises by roughly 1 psi for every 10°C rise in temperature. Heat speeds up wear, and a misaligned tyre suffers most.
UAE rules on tyres are also strict. Under RTA rules, tyres more than five years past their manufacture date are not allowed on UAE roads. Driving on unfit tyres can bring a AED 500 fine, four black points and a one-week impoundment. Dubai Police logged 826 expired-tyre violations in just the first five months of 2026.
Pressure matters as much as age. According to the US Department of Energy, under-inflated tyres lower fuel economy by about 0.2% for every 1 psi drop in average pressure. Every alignment visit includes a free check of your Bentley tyres’ age code, tread depth and pressure.
